Branch Operations Coordinator Weed Precast is seeking a highly organized and proactive Branch Operations Coordinator to play a vital role in our day-to-day precast concrete operations. In this role, you will be the central hub of our facility—facilitating communication across departments, managing inventory, processing sales, and ensuring our production schedules align perfectly with customer demands. Job Overview The Branch Operations Coordinator ensures operational efficiency by completing customer sales transactions, applying payments, managing vendor-purchased resale inventory, and supporting the Operations and Production Managers. You will serve as a key liaison between the plant, project management and trucking to streamline workflows and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities Customer Service:
Receive and process orders from customers. Customer outreach to potential clients. Coordinate and communicate regularly with Operations Manager.
Production and Scheduling:
Communicate daily/weekly production schedule demand from customer orders and inventory levels. Communicate schedule changes to production, customer service, and sales teams promptly.
Inventory and Materials Management:
Monitor inventory levels for product purchased from vendors for resale and/or custom orders from customers, conduct regular physical counts, and coordinate with vendors to ensure adequate supplies. Issue purchase orders for materials and assist with any discrepancies related to invoicing. Receive purchased inventory into accounting software. Assist operations manager with other inventory management as needed at any of the company locations.
Quality and Safety Assurance:
Assist to ensure operations comply with company quality control measures, safety regulations (OSHA), and industry standards. Assist in accident investigations and regular plant inspections.
Logistics and Dispatch Coordination:
Coordinate the pickup and delivery of orders and equipment, working closely with drivers to ensure timely and efficient transport to job sites. Utilize dispatch software and keep updated and communicated to all parties.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory, and operational activities. Prepare and present reports on performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement to operations manager.
Inter-departmental Collaboration:
Serve as a central point of contact for the operations manager, facilitating communication and collaboration between the plant, engineering, project management, sales, and accounting departments to streamline workflows and resolve issues promptly.
Administrative Support:
Perform general administrative duties, including managing customer files, handling communications, and providing support to the Operations Manager as needed. Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
