Full-Time About Us We are a fifth-generation, family-owned hay export company based in Ellensburg, Washington. For generations, we have built our reputation on quality products, strong customer relationships, and a commitment to agriculture. We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Operations Assistant to join our team. Position Summary As the Operations Assistant, you will serve as the first point of contact for truck drivers, customers, vendors, and visitors. This position plays a vital role in daily operations by accurately weighing inbound and outbound trucks, maintaining records, answering phones, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agricultural environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist customers, truck drivers, vendors, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Weigh inbound and outbound trucks using the facility scale system. Accurately record weights and transaction information. Prepare and process scale tickets and related documentation. Enter data into company software and maintain accurate records. Answer and direct incoming phone calls. Coordinate with operations staff regarding incoming and outgoing loads. Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment. Follow company policies and safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Previous office, administrative, agricultural, trucking, logistics, or scale house experience is preferred but not required. What We're Looking For Friendly and professional demeanor. Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience. $23-$28/hr.
