The Operations Specialist position is responsible for supporting the Deposit Operations Department in its mission to provide accurate financial reporting and information. In performing the duties described below, the Operations Specialist is expected to follow established internal control procedures in order to minimize the Bank's risk of loss. In addition, the Operations Specialist is expected to contribute to the Bank's profitability by ensuring that noninterest expenses are approved and processed for payment according to established policies and procedures.

Operations:

Work with branch managers to process daily decisions related to insufficient funds items. Review and process daily non-posted transactions. Reconcile internal demand deposit accounts daily. Prepare and submit cash letter adjustments. Record and resolve returned deposit items. Perform deposit review procedures throughout the day to minimize the Bank's risk of loss and ensure timely processing of valid mobile source capture and other deposit items subject to manual review. Approve corporate ACH files in accordance with established credit risk limits. Review daily ACH reports related to returned items, death notifications, prenote entries, and notifications of change. Monitor daily ACH transactions. Process outgoing wire transfers in accordance with established policies and procedures. Research archived bank records Enter descriptions into the core processing system for general ledger transactions. Purchase and sell foreign currency. Process foreign checks according to policies. Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
