Green Bay, WI Job Details 22 hours ago Qualifications Personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Summary The Wash Floor Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the wash floor to ensure efficient production, proper staffing, quality standards, and compliance with all safety, health, and TRSA requirements. This role coordinates workflow, manages work-in-process (WIP), supports team development, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to maximize productivity and maintain a safe, sanitary work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operations & Production Management Manage daily wash floor operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, and customer requirements are met. Coordinate wash floor scheduling and work-in-process (WIP) control to maintain efficient workflow and minimize bottlenecks. Monitor laundry production activities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput. Maintain accurate production records and operational data. Document daily production metrics and prepare information for team huddles and performance reviews. Collaborate with department leaders to coordinate daily operational needs and ensure smooth workflow between departments. Team Leadership & Staffing Create and manage staff work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and operational coverage. Monitor attendance and coordinate shift coverage as needed. Coach, mentor, and train new hires and existing team members on operational procedures, safety practices, and performance expectations. Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Safety & Compliance Enforce all company safety policies, TRSA standards, and health regulations. Ensure proper sanitization procedures are followed to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary workplace. Verify that all employees consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Conduct regular safety observations and address unsafe conditions or behaviors promptly. Support safety training initiatives and participate in workplace safety programs. Communication & Reporting Maintain effective communication with supervisors, managers, and department leaders regarding production status, staffing needs, and operational challenges. Participate in daily meetings and provide updates on production performance, staffing, safety, and workflow issues. Assist with implementing process improvements and operational best practices. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required. Ability to work in a production environment with exposure to heat, humidity, noise, and moving equipment. Must be able to wear required PPE and comply with all safety requirements. Previous experience in industrial laundry, manufacturing, production, or related operations environment preferred. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to analyze workflow processes and implement improvements. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
