Job Description

Staff Scheduler Meadowbrook Oconto Falls is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Staff Scheduler to join our team! The Staff Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining daily staffing schedules, with a primary focus on nursing staff, including CNAs, RNs, and LPNs . This position plays an important role in ensuring we have appropriate staffing levels each day while supporting our nursing team and maintaining compliance with attendance and scheduling expectations. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain CNA, RN, and LPN schedules to ensure appropriate daily staffing levels. Review staffing needs and adjust schedules as needed to meet resident care requirements. Assist with finding coverage for call-ins, absences, and open shifts. Monitor employee attendance, tardiness, and absences. Work to minimize unnecessary overtime while maintaining adequate staffing. Track productive and non-productive hours and provide staffing reports to management. Coordinate with department managers and Human Resources regarding staffing and attendance concerns. Maintain accurate employee contact information and scheduling records. Answer scheduling-related phone calls and employee inquiries. Build positive working relationships with nursing and other department staff. Maintain confidentiality of employee and resident information, including protected health information. Participate in required staff meetings, training, and facility committees as assigned. Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and other concerns to the appropriate supervisor. What We're Looking For Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Attention to detail and accuracy when creating schedules. Ability to work collaboratively with CNAs, RNs, LPNs, department managers, and Human Resources. Healthcare or long-term care scheduling experience is preferred, but not required.
