•Seeking a qualified Surgical Coordinator for busy private practice Plastic Surgery office.

Position Summary:

Well respected and busy plastic surgery practice seeks a Full Time office representative to help schedule surgeries for our physicians. Surgical Coordinator will make appointments and schedule patients' surgery and appointment in an efficient and timely manner while explaining the process and ensuring patients are given all necessary information to make their visit as seamless as possible.

Position Responsibilities:

Discuss surgical process with patients during physician consultations when needed including scheduling and pricing. Schedule, coordinate, and reschedule patient surgeries and pre/post operative appointments. Contact patients in a timely manner to gauge interest in procedures. Convey questions or concerns regarding medical care to appropriate staff. Answer patient questions regarding the process and address any administrative concerns. Maintain and update information for physicians including scheduling in at their designated locations. Schedule procedures at hospitals using Epic. Collect information needed from patient pre-operatively to ensure a smooth day of surgery visit. Obtain necessary preoperative clearance notes from PCP physicians. Provide a warm and pleasant experience for our patients. Collect down-payments and full surgical payments from patients. Travel is required
