Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate processing of outgoing shipments, coordinate with warehouse operations, and ensure timely delivery of products to our customers. Your expertise in shipping logistics, inventory management, and warehouse systems will help streamline our distribution processes and uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service. Duties Prepare and verify shipping documentation using warehouse management systems and inventory management software Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload goods safely and efficiently Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage stock levels, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes Ensure compliance with trade regulations and international trade laws during shipping procedures Record shipment details accurately through data entry into ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms Manage shipping & receiving activities, including scheduling pickups and deliveries with carriers Maintain organized shipping areas, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and stock rotation Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipping issues promptly and professionally Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping logistics, or related roles with a focus on inventory management software and ERP systems Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and other inventory tools Familiarity with international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and customs documentation Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred) Excellent data entry skills combined with basic math proficiency for order calculations and inventory tracking Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple shipments efficiently in a fast-paced environment Customer service mindset with clear communication skills for coordinating with carriers and internal teams Join us as a Shipping Clerk to play a crucial role in delivering excellence across our supply chain!
