Job Description
```Duties```
- Oversee and manage the shipping department, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of all outgoing shipments
- Supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Develop and implement process improvements to optimize shipping operations and reduce errors
- Maintain inventory control and accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
- Utilize system to track shipments, generate reports, and update inventory records
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies ```Skills```
- Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping supervisor role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping/receiving and inventory control
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Experience with process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as needed
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
