Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our team as a Mail Center Sales Associate or Print Specialist. This role combines hands-on mail center operations with direct customer interaction and print production, offering a fast-paced and rewarding experience within a familiar environment. You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service while expertly managing our production services, driving sales, and contributing to a positive work environment. For Sales associate role either Notary license or work experience in mail center store(AIM, Postal annex or The UPS Store or similar) is mandatory. For the Print Specialist role, commercial print experience is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

For Sales Associate:

Customer Service & Sales:

Greet customers, provide assistance with shipping, mailboxes, packing, retail, faxing, scanning, passport photos, and printing. Proactively identify sales opportunities and promote our services and products. Upsell and cross-sell services and products.

Shipping & Packaging:

Package shipments for safe arrival, including choosing right boxes, building custom boxes, use appropriate packaging material and properly cushioning contents.

For Print Specialist:

Print production : The salesperson will alternate between operating print equipment, making graphic arts edits, and helping customers in the AIM Mail Center. Salesperson will also produce marketing material, including flyers, marketing emails and social media. Salesperson will participate in outside networking, outside sales, and booth events. Printing will include creating and printing business cards/rack cards/brochures/posters/flyers on a production printer, printing & binding, laminating, coil binding, and outsource ordering. Training for shipping, mail handling, and notary skills will be provided for the candidate with Commercial print experience.

Print Operations:

Operate and maintain a range of equipment including a production printer, large format printer, commercial cutter, laminator, and coil binder. Manage print orders from design to completion, including outsourcing. Assist with basic graphic arts edits using Canva or Microsoft Suites (training provided).

Common duties:

Administrative Support:

Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Create social media and eblast material. Attend outside sales networking events and outside sales projects. Basic computer skills(outlook, word, excel, Adobe, copy, print)

Teamwork & Training:

Work effectively as part of a team, contribute to a positive atmosphere, and assist in training other associates on equipment operation and mail center skills. Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends

Mandatory Skill Requirements:

One of the following is a mandatory skill Commercial print production experience Mail center store experience (The UPS Store or similar) Notary public license•Required for providing notary services.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service and communication skills•Retail sales experience is highly desirable. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. A proactive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) systems. Previous printing experience (production, commercial, or retail)•a significant advantage. Knowledge of UPS/FedEx shipping procedures.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand on your feet for extended periods.

YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK DURING THE STORES BUSINESS HOURS.
