Other duties include organizing inventory for ease of retrieval, review of incoming and outgoing shipment schedules, and document any damages to materials received. Additional duties may also include production support as needed, dish washing, and light facilities maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Obtain and process product orders as required to meet daily shipments. Process incoming receipts and all applicable documentation. Distribute receipts of materials to applicable departments. Generate all required shipping documentation i.e. Shipping Label, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Shipping Manifest, etc. Maintain inventory of shipping materials and order as necessary to avoid shipping delays. Support all Quality System regulations as required i.e. NCR's, Incoming Material Inspection Reports, SCAR's, etc. Support the compliant handling process by managing receipts of goods returned and applicable RA's. Support the inventory count process and provide feedback as to finished goods expiry when identified.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
Ability to read and understand applicable work instructions, SOP's, and all other relevant process documentation Strong interpersonal skills Strong electronic and verbal communication skills Excellent customer care skills Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks and forklifts Ability to lift at least 50lbs Must be detail-oriented and have multi-tasking skills Strong organizational skills Working understanding of computer systems including any pertinent ERP system Awareness of WMS and the ability to function within this system Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; used hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. This position may require extended weekday or weekend hours depending on business needs. Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. Less than 10% travel is required. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent 1-3 years' experience in Shipping and Receiving 1-3 years' experience in a regulated warehouse environment is preferred but not required. Work Authorization Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
