Overview Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist focused on Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO). In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth flow of materials and equipment through efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes. Your proactive approach will help maintain optimal warehouse operations, support logistics functions, and uphold trade compliance standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your organizational skills and attention to detail make a real impact every day. Responsibilities Manage all inbound and outbound shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness using shipping logistics and inventory management software. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and organize materials safely and efficiently. Utilize system AVsight for data entry, order fulfillment, and inventory tracking. Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper packing materials are used in accordance with trade compliance and international trade regulations. Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update records to maintain accurate stock levels. Collaborate with the operational team to optimize warehouse operations Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols related to shop operations and equipment handling. Requirements Proven experience and understanding of shipping & receiving processes. Familiarity with inventory management software Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts (certification preferred) Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and inventory management tasks. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Excellent customer service skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external carriers. Knowledge of trade compliance regulations and international trade procedures is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
