Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring seamless warehouse operations. Your expertise in inventory management, shipping logistics, and warehouse procedures will contribute to maintaining optimal stock levels and timely order fulfillment. Duties Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using inventory management software and RF scanners. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately for delivery. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Maintain precise records of all inbound and outbound shipments through data entry in warehouse management systems such as ERP or AS400. Ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping documentation requirements for domestic and international trade. Organize stock in designated warehouse areas, utilizing inventory management software to track stock levels and locations. Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipment discrepancies or delays promptly. Conduct routine inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory records accordingly. Assist in packaging products securely to prevent damage during transit while adhering to safety standards. Support warehouse operations by participating in order picking, stocking, and load & unload activities as needed. Experience Previous experience working in a warehouse environment with a focus on shipping & receiving operations. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRPs for inventory tracking. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Hands-on experience with inventory management software and shipping logistics tools. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred. Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating shipment weights or volumes. Knowledge of international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and order fulfillment processes is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in stock handling and data entry.
