Verifies check-in deliveries using established policies and guidelines. Coordinates deliveries of merchandise for guests and groups with Convention Services using the Daily Traffic Report. Transports received items to department which made the purchase. Maintains par inventory for supplies in the central stock house. Coordinates outgoing shipping processes, which may include weighing packages, calculating rates, and preparing documentation. Ensures that stockroom is secured when unattended and return keys to the Front Desk every night. Assists courier with mail processing, pickup, and delivery of interdepartmental mail. Cross-trains in commissary (F&B products) receiving process. Sweeps floors of stockroom and dispose trash and cardboard as needed. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Regularly stands, walks, use hands, reaches with hands and arms, talks or hears. Occasionally sits stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds. Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate. Valid Driver's License Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
