Job Description

Receiving Clerk Position Summary:

Responsible for coordinating the flow of incoming materials to facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving incoming shipments and comparing items to PO's for verification. Record received items into inventory management system. Prepare items for shipment & create BOL's. Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory records. Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks. Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Operate forklift and other equipment, as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role. Ability to operate a forklift. Knowledge of inventory management systems is preferred. Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
