Job Description

Standard Job Description Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse. Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. (Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations. You will be the Shipping/Receiving Assistant Sr for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control team in Chelmsford, MA. Our team is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products through our supply chain. What You Will Be Doing As the Shipping/Receiving Assistant Sr, you will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting warehouse operations. You will be required to operate company vehicle to transport both production and non production material between Andover MA and Chelmsford MA facilities and provide support in the stockroom with material putaway and kitting. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Active and in good standing drivers license 1-2 years of shipping/receiving or transportation experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship Desired Skills HAZMAT training Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Ability to adapt to changing shipping and receiving schedules and priorities Willingness to work flexible hours (e.g., overtime, weekends) as needed
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
