SHIPPING AND RECEIVING ASSOCIATE

Accumet is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to ensure the accurate and timely shipment and receipt of materials and finished products. About the

Role:

Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. The Shipping and Receiving Associate will verify incoming materials, prepare products for shipment, maintain accurate inventory records, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. This is a full-time position located in Devens, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
• Pick, pack, and package products for shipment according to customer and internal orders
• Prepare accurate shipping labels and documentation
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Sales teams to resolve inventory, documentation, or shipment discrepancies
• Maintain accurate physical and system inventory records for shipping and receiving activities
• Support inventory counts, reconciliation processes, and related documentation
• Put received goods away in the correct storage locations
• Maintain lot numbers, revision levels, and serial numbers, when applicable
• Maintain an organized shipping and receiving dock and warehouse area
• Follow cleanliness, 5S, and safety-compliance standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred
• Manufacturing-environment experience required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting, labeling, and documentation
• Basic math skills
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills, including the ability to use shipping software, shipping-label systems, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word
• Experience with an ERP or job-tracking system, such as JobBOSS, preferred
• Ability to work effectively with Production, Quality, Sales, and other internal teams

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally stand and walk throughout the workday
• Lift and/or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds
• Perform work requiring close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Occasionally work around fumes or airborne particles
• Work in an environment where the noise level is usually moderate
• Wear personal protective equipment as required

Compensation:

• Hourly pay range: \$22.00 to \$26.00
• Actual compensation based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
