Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods through various shipping and receiving processes. Your expertise will support seamless warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. Responsibilities Prepare, package, and label products for shipment in accordance with company standards and customer specifications. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts safely to load and unload goods. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management software to track inventory movements accurately. Manage shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, scheduling pickups, and ensuring timely deliveries. Perform data entry related to shipping & receiving transactions using ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms. Conduct inventory management tasks including stock counting, replenishment, and cycle counts. Ensure compliance with trade regulations and international trade protocols when handling cross-border shipments. Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory levels for reporting purposes. Assist with order picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes to meet customer deadlines. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations and optimizing storage space. Follow safety procedures during all warehouse operations to prevent accidents or damage. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is highly preferred. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRP systems. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, including international trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external carriers. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
