When not shipping, this position fills in their time by bonding small parts using solvents or performing other assembly tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Packages and ships finished goods for shipment Uses telephone\computer to schedule shipments Occasionally purchase raw materials for fabricated parts Performs material/finished goods inventory control Heat-stake brass inserts Bonds complex plastic parts per customer requirements using solvents Control and safe handling of solvents/bonding chemicals/syringes/needles Prompt and regular attendance Perform other duties and assume responsibility as assigned

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Sufficient computer experience to be able to process UPS shipments, print labels, packing slips and perform basic web searches. Ability to communicate via phone or email with co-workers or external contacts such as vendors or freight carriers Minimum Qualifications Consistent work history with multi-year tenure in past positions.
