SHIPPINGRECEIVING ASSOCIATE

Cartridge Actuated Devices, Byram, NJ (Fairfield, NJ as needed) $21 Hourly Vision, Medical, Dental, Paid Time Off, Retirement Full-Time Job Description We are seeking a ShippingReceiving Associate to become part of our team! You will packship parts according to specificationsapproved packaging. Distribution of parts to production departments. Receive incoming items and allocate them to the correct locations.

Responsibilities:

PackageShip Parts Distribution of Parts Receive in Parts Overall organization of parts and packaging materials Alert purchasing for supply replenishment Data processing activities utilizing the company's business system (FBS). Scheduling shipments and preparing shipping documents/labels per

DOT/IATA/CUSTOMER

requirements. Reviewing CAD drawings and customer specific drawings for required labeling, packaging, and special needs. Assist in packaging process as well as physical counting of parts, distribution and reconciliation. Maintains strict confidentiality of all information processed. Follows procedures as defined by CAD policies, procedures, and ISO9001: 2000 requirements. Maintains confidentiality of all information processed.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or G.E.D., required Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields Strong computer skills including the ability to utilize spreadsheet and word-processing programs Effective verbal and listening communication skills while working with suppliers/vendors and internal departments Ability to handle physical workload-able to lift 85 pounds and occasionally stand for long periods of time Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills Ability to learn forklift training and become Hazmat certified Company Description Cartridge Actuated Devices, Inc., has over fifty years of experience in the field of custom pyrotechnic development. We design and manufacture energetic CAD/PAD devices. Our products are employed in a wide variety of military, industrial and scientific applications all over the world.

Days/Hours:

Monday- Thursday 7:00-5:30

Friday:

Mandatory overtime 7:00-3:00
