This role ensures that orders are accurately picked, securely packed, correctly documented, and dispatched in compliance with customer requirements, carrier guidelines, and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Outbound Processing & Packaging Inspect, verify, and match picked items against customer purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping manifests. Securely pack, seal, and label orders using appropriate packaging materials, banding, and shrink wrap. Weigh and measure packages/pallets to calculate freight charges and select cost-effective shipping methods. Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, electric pallet jacks, tape machines) to move pallets to staging areas. Documentation & Logistics Coordination Prepare shipping documents including Bills of Lading (BOL), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) paperwork. Process shipments using carrier software (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Schedule carrier pickups (LTL, FTL, parcel) and coordinate dock doors with truck drivers upon arrival. Maintain accurate electronic shipping logs and update order status in ERP/WMS systems in real time. Quality Control & Safety Perform final quality checks to prevent short shipments, wrong SKUs, or damaged products from shipping.
