We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the picking and shipping of product orders. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the smooth operation of our distribution center.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED

The Shipping Picking and Associate is responsible for picking and shipping of all brand orders. The Shipping and Picking Associate will be responsible for picking and shipping of outgoing shipments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform basic visual quality inspections of products.
• Ship product multiple brand orders.
• Gather and consolidate orders ensuring efficient processing times.
• Inform Warehouse team of inventory issues.
• Communicate with Accounting when customer issues arise.
• Other duties and assignments as assigned.

• Warehouse/Shipping Lead, Operations Manager, Plant Manager.

MINIMUM PRIOR KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic MS Office software skills.
• Must be willing to work overtime including weekends, if necessary.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to climb a 10-ft. ladder on a regular basis.
• Forklift experience; forklift certification a plus. Will train.
• Requires a cooperative person with good interpersonal skills.
• Must be willing to work overtime including weekends if necessary.
• Shipping experience required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The Shipping Picking Associate is subject to manipulating hands and wrists. Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, squat, and lift.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS

The Shipping Picking Associate works in a well-lit, open warehouse environment that is subject to various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold. The position is subject to frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts or containers.
