Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of inbound and outbound shipments. Your proactive approach will support our supply chain operations, optimize transportation planning, and uphold the highest standards of materials handling and order fulfillment. Responsibilities Verify all incoming shipments, ensuring proper documentation and inventory accuracy. Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, labeling, and documenting orders with precision to meet customer expectations. Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely to move goods within the warehouse. Implement process improvements in shipping & receiving workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline operations management. Requirements Familiarity with materials handling procedures based on customer orders. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent attention to detail in order picking accuracy. Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items when necessary, and perform warehouse tasks efficiently.
