We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Shipping/Assistant Routing Coordinator to join the Kai USA team. This role is integral to ensuring efficient transportation, accurate order fulfillment, and seamless warehouse distribution processes. The successful candidate will coordinate shipping logistics, manage routing schedules, and support procurement activities to optimize supply chain performance. Essential Shipper Responsibilities & Duties Summary:
Main responsibilities are in the Pick/Pack role described below. Ability to work within a WMS (D365). Ability to read and understand Shipping guides. Pick Product to ship. Pack Product to ship either LTL or Parcel. Sorting, labeling and palletizing shipments in designated locations. Ensure accuracy and count of Customer orders. Report wrong quantities or incorrect products to your Supervisor/Lead. Report any damaged products to your Supervisor/Lead. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Main responsibilities are in the pick/pack role described above
Essential Asst Routing Coordinator Responsibilities & Duties Summary:
Duties listed below will be performed when necessary. Logistics Liaison for internal and external Customer Service (Phone and Email) Order allocation (Planning the daily/weekly workloads for all shifts). Order release (daily order picking tickets - day only) Customer routing guide compliance (Reading and updating procedures). Ability to work within Customer Routing Guide Portals. Ensuring that all shipments follow Customer Shipping Guidelines to keep from getting chargebacks. Coordinating with Carriers for LTL and Parcel Shipment pickups. Collaborating with EDI Team to ensure accuracy for Customer Shipments. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience:
The qualified employee will have a high school diploma/GED and 1 to 2 years of experience in a shipping or warehouse atmosphere. Work experience &
Skills:
Get along with others in a team environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, some heavy lifting at times. Ask questions of supervisors or managers if unsure about a specific order or request. Excellent written/verbal communication skills High energy, motivated individual who thrives in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Able to communicate with outside vendors, including truck companies. Some basic math skills required, counting, adding subtracting as needed. Be available to help on other reasonable projects as assigned by the shipping supervisor.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reading Skills:
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Must have ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Requirements:
Employees performing this job is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel, to sit and use fingers and hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
Lifting :
50 lbs maximum lifting for this job. Anything over 50 lbs requires a two-person assist or equipment to assist with the lift.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
