Quanex is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Assistant to join our team located in Allentown, PA. This position is responsible for working as part of a team in the moving of finished goods in and out of the facility in a safe, timely and efficient manner focusing on meeting the needs of both internal and external customers. Receives and stocks finished goods Scans finished goods when received, stocked, moved, and shipped, verifying all information is accurate. Locates orders and pulls orders with a forklift. Safely loads trailers and secures loads. Enters and prints shipping documents (packing slips, B.O.L, etc.) Maintains clean, organized and safe work areas in accordance with company standards.

Your Credentials:

1 years' experience working in shipping and receiving in a manufacturing environment. Ability to look up inventory locations in the computer system. Ability to perform physical functions of the job (lifting of at least 50 lbs. repetitively). Ability to follow both written and verbal communication.
