Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper & Receiver to join our logistics and warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely shipping and receiving, and maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, familiarity with warehouse operations, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to seamless supply chain processes and support overall business success. This is a first shift position, overtime probable. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload goods efficiently Maintain accurate inventory records Coordinate with carriers for timely pickup and delivery of shipments Assist in packaging products securely for shipment to prevent damage during transit Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock storage areas and optimizing space utilization Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipping or receiving issues promptly Skills Strong knowledge of shipping logistics and order fulfillment. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely Excellent data entry skills combined with attention to detail for accurate record keeping Basic math skills for measuring, weighing, calculating dimensions, and verifying quantities Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Customer service orientation with effective communication skills to liaise with vendors, carriers, and internal teams This position is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse operations while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
