The Opportunity Summary:

The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing materials, products, and supplies. This role ensures accurate receiving, proper documentation, safe material handling, and timely shipment of goods to support smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and finished goods against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, staging, and loading products for delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse systems as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks, following safety procedures and certifications.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the appropriate department.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations to support efficient warehouse flow.
• Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and general warehouse upkeep.
• Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Support additional warehouse or production tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or material handling preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to lift packages or materials up to 50 pounds #JCSRA1

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
