  • Ability to understand and efficiently manage the flow of materials, from receipt to shipment, including Quality verification, proper storage, and coordination of shipments.
Logistics and Inventory Management Experience:

Familiarity with inventory management principles, storage methods, stock control, and materials handling in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

    Organizational and Planning Skills:

    Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and activities, ensuring that materials are received and shipped in a timely and efficient manner, and maintaining a smooth workflow in the department.

      Teamwork Skills:

      Ability to collaborate with other departments and teams, including production, purchasing, and quality control, to ensure effective coordination of material receipt and shipment activities.

        Communication Skills:

        Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with suppliers, carriers, coworkers, and supervisors, to solve problems, coordinate activities, and keep all stakeholders informed.

              Main Responsibilities Material Receipt Management:
              • Supervise and coordinate activities related to the receipt of incoming materials, ensuring timeliness and accuracy in the process.
              • Verify the Quality and quantity of materials received, comparing with Purchase Order documentation, Shippers or Packing Slips, and established Quality standards.
              • Coordinate the unloading of materials and their proper storage in the warehouse, ensuring proper identification and correct location in the inventory.
              Shipment Planning and Scheduling:
              • Plan and coordinate outgoing material shipments, ensuring product availability and coordination with carriers and shipping service providers.
              • Schedule loading and unloading times for materials, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime in the warehouse.
              • Prepare necessary documentation for shipments, including invoices, packing lists, and transportation documents.
              Inventory Tracking and Control:
              • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory level records, using computer systems and inventory tracking tools as indicated by the Organization.
              • Perform periodic cycle counts and inventory audits to verify record accuracy and identify potential discrepancies.
              • Foster a safe and collaborative work environment, promoting open communication and effective problem-solving among team members.
              Regulatory and Safety Compliance:
              • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and regulations regarding material receipt, storage, and shipment, including occupational safety standards and environmental regulations.
              • Stay updated on changes in regulations and policies related to material management, ensuring ongoing compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
              Continuous Improvement and Operational Efficiency:
              • Identify opportunities for improvement in material receipt and shipment processes, implementing changes and adjustments to optimize efficiency and reduce operating costs.
              • Collect and analyze operational data and performance metrics, identifying trends and areas of opportunity for continuous improvement of the department.
