Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with shipping regulations. Duties Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving processes, including verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness Operate warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management software to track stock levels, order status, and shipment details Utilize RF scanners, pallet jacks, reach trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Prepare shipping documentation in compliance with trade regulations and international trade laws, ensuring proper packaging and labeling for domestic and international shipments Conduct inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records Collaborate with customer service teams to coordinate order fulfillment, resolve discrepancies, and provide timely updates on shipment status Ensure adherence to safety protocols during all warehouse operations including picking & packing, load & unload activities, and stocking procedures Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations with a focus on shipping & receiving or logistics management Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and MRP tools Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes Strong understanding of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and e-commerce fulfillment processes Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order processing and inventory management Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with reach trucks and pallet jacks is preferred Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Customer service mindset with effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external carriers Join us as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to play a crucial role in our supply chain excellence!
