Job Description

Our Waukesha-based client, a provider of custom computing solutions for the medical, industrial, and defense industries, is looking for a Materials Recovery Associate to join their warehouse and materials team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with full health benefits included, paying $21-$24/hour based on experience. In this role, you'll support the day-to-day movement and tracking of materials, including supplies, product returns/RMAs, receiving and shipping, inventory transactions, vendor communication, paperwork, and data entry in Syteline. You'll also follow up with vendors to help ensure supplies and materials are delivered on time.
Schedule :
1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, with flexibility on start time.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle product returns and Return Materials Authorizations (RMAs). Receive, sort, label, and ship materials. Enter shipments, receipts, and inventory transfers in Syteline. Contact vendors to obtain RMA numbers and follow up by phone, fax, or email. Follow up with vendors to help ensure supplies and materials are arriving on time. Verify products against purchase orders (POs) and RMAs to ensure all required products have been included. Process credit memos. Maintain files and paperwork related to returns, shipments, receipts, and RMAs. Use Microsoft Excel and Word to prepare reports and spreadsheets as requested. Keep the Recovery area organized and clean. Physically identify and prepare products for shipment or receipt in a timely manner. Help other materials areas as needed and be flexible to move to different areas to provide additional support. Assist with training other team members and contribute to a strong team effort to ensure timely and efficient completion of customer requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of warehouse, materials, inventory, shipping/receiving, or RMA experience preferred. Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Able to follow written and verbal instructions, solve practical problems, work well with others, and work up to 8-hour shifts with overtime as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, reach, use hands, and perform warehouse tasks throughout the shift. Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs. independently and up to 50 lbs. with assistance. Highly regulated, climate-controlled environment with low to moderate noise.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
