$18/hr Overview The Shipping and Receiving Technician is responsible for fulfilling customer orders and receiving/verifying deliveries accurately and on time, while maintaining an organized workspace. Duties include unloading trucks, inspecting packages, comparing items to documents, counting/weighing parts, using material moving equipment, distributing materials, and general upkeep. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, adherence to procedures, and a willingness to be trained on equipment. Performance is evaluated on task completion and maintaining a clean environment. Primary Responsibilities Accurately fulfill customer orders in a timely manner. Perform receiving duties, including unloading trucks and visually inspecting packages for damage. Visually inspect items against packing lists and Purchase Orders to ensure correct parts and quantities are received. Count or weigh parts to verify quantity. Use pallet jacks and dollies to move products and materials to appropriate locations. Distribute processed materials and packages to the proper recipients. Accurately record firearm receipts and dispositions in the ATF Acquisition & Disposition (Bound Book) record in accordance with federal regulations. Assist in tracking and verifying ATF and NFA-regulated items to ensure proper handling and compliance with all applicable federal requirements. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent required. 2 years of experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail, particularly in verifying parts, quantities, and documentation accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to strictly follow documented work instructions and standard operating procedures. Experience with inventory or warehouse management software preferred (Odoo experience a plus). Ability to operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, dollies); training provided. Must be able to comply with all applicable safety regulations and company policies. Familiarity with ATF recordkeeping requirements and FFL compliance preferred; willingness to be trained on Bound Book procedures and NFA item handling required.
