We are looking for a Warehouse Manager with ability to organize, maintain and develop our growing warehouse. Must have great attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Our team is growing here in Northwest Arkansas. 1st Choice Flooring is a fast paced residential and commercial flooring store. Full time salary position and bonus program. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Operations:

Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision Overseeing and supervising all Warehouse/Delivery personnel Overseeing all warehousing and distribution operations Maintaining documentation (system) and keep accurate records of warehouse activities Providing constant communication with Sales and Operations Maintaining awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles Ensuring Warehouse is properly maintained, staffed, cleaned and available during selected hours Maintaining all safety training and materials for the Warehouse and Delivery areas Maintaining Warehouse security and locking procedures Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment Providing Accounting with proper paperwork Working at least two Saturdays a month to staff Warehouse or as needed

Management:

Evaluating and reviewing warehouse personnel on an annual basis Motivating and disciplining warehouse personnel as needed Managing warehouse personnel staffing and vacation schedules Training and implementation of all Warehouse/Delivery personnel on proper procedures and policies for: Product Receiving and Check-in procedures/checklist (see W101) Inventory and Stocking procedures/checklist (see W102) Damage and Claim reporting procedures/checklist (see W103) Forklift and Delivery vehicle operations and safety procedures (see W105)

Receiving:

Verifying all orders for correctness and quality Processing all Damage and Claim reports (see W103) Providing Resolutions for damages and claim issues (see W103) Updating the system with information and notes Following up on all credits, incidents and other items for products

Warehousing:

Conducting on-going Inventory Checks Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization Ensuring that Inventory and Stocking procedures are being followed (see W102) Updating Inventory in Sales System Maintaining Stocked items to set levels

Distribution:

Scheduling Product Deliveries to Job Sites Overseeing Truck Loading/Unloading schedules Auditing Contractor process of taking goods/items for job sites Auditing Deliveries and processes to ensure company standards Qualifications and Education Requirements Proven work experience as a warehouse manager Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices Understanding of warehouse inventory systems/controls Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases Above average computer skills Strong customer service and communication skills Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Strong decision making and problem-solving skills Valid Drivers' license High School Diploma required Available to work extended hours if needed Ability to operate forklift effectively

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
