12+ Months (Contract to extend/hire) About the job We are seeking a Delivery Manager for the BPM Enablement Platform to join our Technology organization. This role will support the Enablement Platform Portfolio by driving delivery coordination, vendor engagement, resource management, and operational governance across the BPM Platforms and related BPM initiatives. You will serve as a key liaison between business requestors, delivery partners, platform leadership, and external vendors to ensure the successful execution of platform initiatives. Rather than traditional project-focused efforts, this role is heavily geared toward coordination, planning activities, and managing processes within the team. You will be instrumental in helping the platform scale delivery capabilities, improve governance, and provide a consistent experience for business partners seeking workflow solutions.

Responsibilities Intake & Requirements Management:

Coordinate Appian Application Request Interview sessions with business requestors to understand objectives, scope, timelines, and delivery needs. Facilitate discovery and intake activities to ensure application requests are properly documented.

Vendor & Resource Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for upcoming Managed Services engagements. Coordinate communications between internal stakeholders and external delivery leadership. Own the tracking and management of contracted resources against Statements of Work (SOWs).

Resource Coordination:

Monitor resource allocations, onboarding, offboarding (including access management), utilization, and capacity. Work with onshore/offshore vendor leadership to address resource needs, staffing changes, delivery risks, and contractual obligations.

Contract Lifecycle Management:

Monitor contract activities, including initiation, approvals, renewals, amendments, and expirations. Partner with finance, sourcing, and vendor management teams to ensure procurement compliance.

Portfolio & Delivery Operations:

Maintain portfolio and project information within Planview. Track project milestones, delivery commitments, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Reporting & Governance:

Produce delivery reports and status updates for platform leadership. Support planning activities, resource forecasting, and operational governance processes. Facilitate meetings between the business and contractors, acting as the primary in-between liaison. Minimum Qualifications and Experience 5+ years of experience in technology delivery, project management, vendor management, or related roles within the technology realm. Experience coordinating software delivery initiatives involving both business and technical stakeholders. Experience managing vendor resources and contractual deliverables. Familiarity with procurement, contract management, and financial governance processes. Experience using project and portfolio management tools such as Planview, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Exceptional tracking abilities, highly organized, and capable of keeping up with strict timelines. Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within the insurance realm, financial services, or other highly regulated industries (insurance background is highly preferred). Experience supporting Appian, Workflow, BPM, or low-code platforms. Experience working directly with managed service providers and onshore/offshore delivery teams. Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive delivery outcomes through influence and collaboration.
