Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced OB Director (RN) to lead our Labor & Delivery department in Hancock, Michigan. This leadership role is ideal for a registered nurse with a strong clinical background in obstetrics who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while leading and developing a high-performing team. The OB Director will oversee the daily operations of the department, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, manage staff performance, and promote a culture of safety and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Labor & Delivery department. Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and departmental performance. Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards. Support quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs. Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on excellent patient care.

Required Qualifications:

Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License Associate's Degree in Nursing Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage departmental operations and support clinical excellence

Preferred Qualifications:
