About This Position The Warehouse Operation Manger is responsible for all functions of the warehouse including: shipping, receiving, inventory control, administering policies and programs and maintaining supplies for the Distribution center. Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following: Hires, orients, trains and issues corrective action (when applicable) to team members

Review and approve payroll on a weekly basis

Ensuring warehouse is equipped with racking, proper lighting, heat and air, proper work environment and any other warehouse related items

Shipping UPS/FED EX/international/trucking control

Receiving, including quality control

Managing the contractor compliance program

Supervising and training warehouse personnel

Other duties as determined by the needs of the business What You'll Need Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Valid driver's license.

Requires strong supervisory skills: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.

Ability to work well in a team environment and create a team work environment by communicating effectively between shift/department. Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly.

Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and situations.

Ability to prioritize workload on a daily basis.

Knowledge of Quality Procedures.

Packaging experience a plus.

Mechanical aptitude for high speed packaging equipment.

Ability to work inside a corrections environment.
