We are a progressive company that specializes in blinds, shades, shutters as well as closet and garage organization systems to maximize space. Strickland's takes pride in providing an enjoyable workplace that challenges and encourages teamwork of our employees. We are currently looking to fill the position of Warehouse Manager to handle daily operations of our warehouse. Duties include shipping and receiving, returns, and staging of orders to name a few. The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, be self-starting, be an excellent problem solver and provide impeccable customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to advance in the company.
Job Responsibilities:
(but not limited to) Receive, unpack and sort product shipments & working with inventory control Prepares orders by pulling materials and staging order in the delivery area for installation Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from customers and vendors Assists with installations as needed Operate a Forklift and/or climb an extension ladder Completes reports by entering required information
Skills and Qualifications:
Teamwork & Coordination Organization & Planning Inventory Control Equipment Maintenance Data Entry Skills Dependability Clean driving record and valid NC Driver's License Great Customer Service Skills We will train but previous warehouse experience, working with customers and tools is preferred but not required. Starting pay for this position is between $15 to $18 per hour based on experience and performance in the first 90 days. This is a full-time position with the possibility of promotion and advancement as the company continues to expand.
