In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse management, ensuring efficient distribution, inventory control, and team coordination. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize logistics workflows, and uphold safety standards across the facility. With a focus on continuous improvement and supply chain excellence, you will be instrumental in maintaining seamless operations that support our company's growth and customer satisfaction. Duties Lead and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a motivated team environment focused on safety, productivity, and quality. Oversee inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels, proper storage, and timely order fulfillment. Manage transportation planning and logistics coordination, including freight, shipping & receiving, and fleet management to optimize delivery schedules. Implement process improvements utilizing Lean principles and process management techniques to enhance operational efficiency. Monitor and control warehouse budgets, including procurement, purchasing, and cost analysis related to supply chain activities. Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline operations and improve data accuracy. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) partners to ensure smooth distribution operations. Conduct demand planning, production planning, and supply chain analytics to forecast needs accurately and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, warehouse procedures, and transportation management systems to maintain a secure working environment. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across distribution operations by analyzing performance metrics and implementing best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a logistics or distribution environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory control, procurement, freight management, and distribution processes. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting. Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma to enhance efficiency. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively through managerial communication and supervisory experience. Experience with demand planning, production scheduling, fleet management, and materials management is highly desirable. Strong understanding of profit & loss responsibilities along with budgeting skills for operational oversight. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, inventory management, and procurement activities.
