The Warehouse Manager will direct and supervise staff and day-to-day warehouse operations. Ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales or productivity goals. Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager will direct and supervise staff and day-to-day warehouse operations, working hand and hand with the sales team and branch manager. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Hires and trains qualified candidates for warehouse associate roles. Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the warehouse. Schedule and manage working and lunch hours for WH staff. Ability to prioritize tasks / delegating when appropriate. Train and provide Forklift Certification for warehouse employees. Schedule truck/fleet, forklift, and general warehouse maintenance. Create and implement new procedures to increase warehouse productivity.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Conducts monthly/weekly staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with WH staff; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives. Maintains and develops positive relationships with warehouse employees. Conflict resolution between warehouse employees. Actively communicate with Accounts Payable to resolve PO discrepancies, and shortages. Schedule and manifest all deliveries, confirm details such as delivery address & contact information. Schedule inbound deliveries from vendors. Ensure purchase orders and transfers are received and picked by end of day. Manage all warehouse and inventory reports such as, open transfer & back-order reports.

Qualifications:

Ability to analyze and solve problems. Willing and able to safely operate material handling equipment. Ability to multitask handling multiple issues at the same time. Flexibility with schedule to ensure daily warehouse duties are completed before end of shift. Must have reliable daily transportation to the Branch. Product knowledge of plumbing material is . Good organizational and time management skills. Must be able to safely stand for long periods of time. Must be able to safely walk through the warehouse in addition to climbing ladders.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. While mainly standard hours are scheduled for this position, 7AM-5PM, Mon-Fri., Sat - 8AM-1PM or 7AM-12PM (depending on the Branch), rotation of staff is required on Saturday's. Flexibility is required to ensure all orders and job duties are completed by the end of every shift.

Pay:

$62,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
