Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager. This leadership role involves managing warehouse operations, communicate with procurement teams, maintain facilities and equipment, enforce safety and housekeeping protocols, and optimize logistics processes for efficient product movement and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and develop warehouse team to deliver unparalleled customer service. Develop and enforce policies to ensure efficient, effective, and safe distribution center operations. Implement food safety and quality assurance procedures, provide guidance to mitigate risks, and enforce tier compliance for safety and quality events. Analyze operational data and trends, manage change, develop productivity tools, and serve as a process auditor. Manage warehouse budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to reduce expenses. Own the full value stream, from receiving to shipping. Understand business operations, customer needs, and the products in the warehouse. Support inventory planning, coordinate dispatch and drivers, monitor route capacity and opportunities for growth. Forecast costs, demand, and supply to assist in pricing strategy and promotions. Ensure that the trucks are up to date for maintenance and ready to deploy, daily. Monitor Company driver's performance and ensure all are trained and meet DOT standards. Ensure all staff know that should report any food safety concerns to management. Additional duties and projects as may be assigned Experience BA/BS in business, engineering, applied science or related fields, preferred or relevant manufacturing experience. 5+ years management experience within a warehouse is preferred. Excellent attendance record. Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and train associates fostering a team environment. Demonstrated ability to plan, monitor, and schedule tasks with excellent time management skills. Working knowledge of FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) sanitation methods, and HACCP/FSMA, preferred. Able to work independently and work efficiently with little or no supervision Ability to collect, analyze and present facts in written and oral communication Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Commitment to
Food Safety:
Biery Cheese will continuously train our team members in food safety, food quality and maintaining regulatory requirements. Biery Cheese team members will be encouraged to improve their work process to produce/ packaged at the highest quality under the guides of food safety and quality. Our team members are to conduct themselves appropriately while at Biery Cheese and manage the production area in a safe manner to avoid injury to themselves or co-workers.
Work Environment:
The work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts which may require special safety precautions working around moving machines in production facilities, protective clothing or gear such as goggles, gloves and shoes may be required. May be able to work in a cold environment.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Ability to use hands/arms to reach, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. Ability to work in multiple areas of the plant and may be exposed to wet and humid conditions. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to use distant and peripheral vision, identify and distinguish colors, and adjust focus. May work near moving mechanical parts, high and/or confining places. From $85,000.00 per year
