Job Description
- Job Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Yard Manager employee to join our team. The manager's role will be to oversee all yard operations. He will have several yard workers reporting to him and his responsibilities will be to oversee that all jobs are gathered and staged correctly and in a timely manner so they will be ready to deliver on time.
- Duties
- Oversee assembly of building packages from yard inventory for customers.
- Oversee loading and unloading shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Replace yard inventory.
- Oversee team members to facilitate smooth shipping and receiving processes.
- Operate forklifts, yard trucks and Moffet trucks
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment.
- Requirements
- Previous experience in a distribution center or similar environment
- Experience managing other employees
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts
- Must be willing to work with others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be physically fit to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy loads.
- A commitment to safety practices and procedures is essential for this role.
Job Type:

$25.00- $35.
