Lancaster, PA Job Purpose:

Under the direction of the Home Delivery Operations Director, the Distribution Manager is responsible for the successful oversight of the day to day operations of the assigned location. The Distribution Manager (DM) is to ensure the clients' delivery requirements are managed professionally and accurately from receipt of the product to delivery by Independent Contractors. Below is a brief description of some of the duties this position requires: Ongoing successful recruitment of an Independent Contracting Delivery Crews (IC's) and terminate IC contracts for failure to adhere client requirements and Global Ad Distribution (GAD) specified guidelines. Maintain thorough knowledge of the client expectations and requirements regarding delivery of client product, warehouse procedures, and facility emergency situations. Stage product quantity and zones received from the client and ensure they are clearly marked to identify each IC. Maintain timeline windows for IC product pick up and dispatch product in person established procedures. Inspect delivery with the assigned delivery area ensuring the placement of product meets client requirements and sporadically inspects that the Printed Advertisement package is dry and in good conditions, and is also packaged according to client requirements (bagged).

Qualifications are:

Computer Literate -- Excel, Word, and Outlook competency Is organized, takes initiative, and pays attention to detail Good written and communication skills, and is able to interact effectively and professionally Able to work independently with minimal direction, and able to work within a team environment Is flexible to work when needed Dependable vehicle with current insurance, has working laptop and internet device to use on the job Experience in managing the distribution of advertising products or newspapers preferred.
