Lead day-to-day warehouse operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, inventory accuracy, productivity, and team performance. Coach, mentor, and develop the warehouse team, including IDPs, performance evaluations, ongoing feedback, disciplinary actions, career paths, and succession planning. Establish and track team goals, individual performance objectives, and organizational KPIs to drive operational success. Create, communicate, and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and standard work to support consistent execution and compliance. Drive continuous improvement across receiving, put-away, storage, picking, staging, shipping, and inventory control processes. Monitor operational metrics, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement. Develop strategic workforce plans, including shift structures, to ensure adequate staffing for peak and off-peak operations. Oversee inbound and outbound shipments as well as import/export logistics, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and shipping policies. Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies, and manage warehouse safety programs. Establish and manage annual budgets, track expenses, and optimize costs. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and third-party logistics providers.
WHAT YOU BRING
4+ years of warehouse management and inventory control experience. Proven experience in international logistics, including import/export regulations, customs compliance, and global supply chain management. Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams. Disciplined and standards-driven, holding self and team accountable to warehouse standards, standard work, and established procedures. Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards. Forklift certified.
PREFERRED
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
SAP S/4HANA
experience, including Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). Background in lean operations and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S. Experience creating and implementing warehouse standards, policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role is performed onsite in a well-lighted warehouse environment with adequate ventilation, on and near lift trucks and other material moving equipment, with moderate to loud noise and temperatures that vary with outside weather. The position requires a significant portion of the day on your feet; frequent bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, kneeling, squatting, pushing, and pulling; regularly lifting and carrying items up to 35 lbs; manual dexterity to handle items; close, distance, and color vision; and the ability to operate pedal controls on material moving equipment. Overtime may be required based on business necessity.
