Warehouse Manager - Agricultural Equipment Manufacturing Janesville, WI | $70,000 to $80,000 per year A 198 year old, $1.3 billion multinational manufacturer of agricultural equipment is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a team in the operation of its headquarters warehouses. This person will control and direct the receiving, storage, and distribution of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods, and will manage personnel and equipment to optimize safe, timely, and cost-effective product output. Schedule Full-time, on-site at the company's Janesville, Wisconsin headquarters. Compensation $70,000 to $80,000 per year. What You'll Do In this role, you will supervise a team of 10 warehouse associates in the effective operation of the warehouses, developing and continuously improving supply chain strategies and performance goals aligned with corporate objectives, and updating and evaluating weekly KPIs. You will be accountable for all controlled inventory and finished goods shipping and warehouse duties, ensuring quality assurance, inventory accuracy, and timely transactions for inbound and outbound products, and working closely with the Quality Assurance team to resolve quality issues. You will control inventory accuracy through physical cycle counts reconciled against the data storage system, determining root causes of inaccuracies and expediting corrective action, and ensure that all shipping and warehousing operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations. You will oversee equipment requirements and maintenance programs, including forklifts and cranes, developing proposals for capital expenditures and expense budgets, and will oversee safe operation of the large specialty forklift for special project requests outside the shipping function. You will meet periodic shipping volume objectives, reporting exceptions immediately, ensure that products received or shipped meet company quality standards for packaging and completeness, and serve as the go-to expert on the warehouse management system and shipping processes, performing daily validations within supporting computer programs.
