Warehouse Manager Position Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse and distribution operations to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and delivery of product. This position oversees warehouse employees, delivery drivers, and the Fleet Maintenance Technician while establishing clear expectations, promoting accountability, and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with Sales, Logistics, Purchasing, HR, Accounting, and Administration, the Warehouse Manager ensures operational excellence and exceptional customer service. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience Previous warehouse or distribution management experience Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and warehouse/ERP systems Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move products weighing 40+ pounds Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday Essential Responsibilities Lead all daily warehouse and delivery operations to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. Plan workloads, assign priorities, and maintain an organized operation that supports efficient product flow and excellent customer service. Recruit, train, coach, and develop warehouse employees and delivery drivers in partnership with HR. Supervise the Fleet Maintenance Technician and oversee fleet readiness. Create warehouse and driver schedules while maintaining appropriate staffing levels. Establish clear performance expectations and provide regular coaching and feedback. Address attendance, conduct, safety, customer service, and performance issues through timely documentation and consistent application of company policies. Conduct regular team meetings and foster a positive, accountable work environment. Oversee receiving, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, warehouse organization, and delivery execution. Ensure incoming shipments are verified for quantity, quality, vintage, and purchase order accuracy. Maintain inventory integrity through cycle counts, audits, and established inventory control procedures. Establish standards that reduce picking errors, delivery issues, product damage, and inventory discrepancies. Promote and enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance. Ensure warehouse equipment, delivery vehicles, and facilities are maintained in a safe and efficient operating condition. Coordinate maintenance priorities with the Fleet Maintenance Technician and communicate operational, equipment, and supply needs to management. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Work collaboratively with Sales, Logistics, Purchasing, HR, Accounting, and Administration to support company operations. Maintain required operational records and documentation. Evaluate warehouse and delivery procedures, implement process improvements, and develop best practices that increase efficiency, accuracy, safety, and customer service. Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. Success in This Position A successful Warehouse Manager will: Build and lead a dependable, accountable team of warehouse employees and delivery drivers. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse and distribution operation. Ensure high inventory accuracy, order quality, and delivery performance. Develop employees through coaching, documentation, and consistent accountability. Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments. Continuously improve processes while supporting the company's growth.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
