SUMMARY:

Responsible for the routine daily storeroom operations including ordering, inventorying, stocking, and issuing all storeroom supplies. Supervises storeroom personnel and serves as liaison for the Materials Management Department between all departments and the storeroom keeping the Materials Management Director informed of storeroom activities, needs, and potential problems. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Three years storeroom/purchasing experience with a minimum one year in a healthcare related setting. Supervisory experience is desirable but not required.

Requires knowledge of basic storeroom activities in a computerized environment. Requires word processing, spreadsheet, and database skills. Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to respond calmly and quickly with good judgement in stressful situations.

Preferred:

Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
