This pivotal role involves managing daily outbound logistics activities, leading a team of warehouse staff, and ensuring efficient inventory control. The ideal candidate will be passionate about process improvement, safety compliance, and team leadership, driving operational excellence in a fast-paced distribution environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate all outbound warehouse activities, including shipping, loading, and materials handling Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment Oversee inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels and proper storage procedures Operate and manage material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and efficiently Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards during all warehouse operations Collaborate with logistics teams to plan shipment schedules, optimize routes, and meet delivery deadlines Conduct regular training sessions on warehouse operations, safety protocols, and equipment use Maintain detailed records of shipping & receiving activities, inventory adjustments, and incident reports Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, warehouse supervision or logistics management Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and inventory management software Hands-on experience operating heavy material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with diverse teams Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like lean management or Six Sigma is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and materials handling Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes Join us as an Outbound Operations Lead to shape the future of our distribution center!
