Type:

full-time We are seeking an Inventory & Purchasing Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory control, material sourcing, and shipping support across 3 manufacturing plants with approximately 150 employees. The ideal candidate is a strong, hands-on leader who can manage people, maintain accurate inventory, and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Purchase raw materials from confirmed Purchase Orders. Maintain required raw material inventory levels and prevent shortages. Prepare daily inventory and perpetual inventory reports. Manage customer-specific inventory, including Plastics and Globe Materials. Source materials and prepare cost estimates for new samples. Record materials ordered for inventory tracking. Scan and file packing lists. Send packing lists and COCs to Accounting for payment processing. Coordinate shipments of samples and special customer requests. Provide customer inventory reports when requested. Perform and report month-end physical inventory counts. Manage and provide direction and feedback to employees. Handle additional responsibilities and projects assigned by Management.

Requirements:

Experience in purchasing, inventory control, materials management, or manufacturing. Previous supervisory or management experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Strong leadership and communication skills. Confident personality with the ability to manage employees and provide constructive feedback. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
