The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, analytical judgment, and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead supply chain, procurement, and material planning activities to maintain reliable product flow and support manufacturing performance.
  • Direct and develop leaders and team members across the function, setting priorities, improving accountability, and building organizational capability.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements and commercial terms while balancing cost, quality, delivery, and long-term business needs.
  • Evaluate supplier performance, inventory trends, and operational data to identify risks and recommend effective corrective actions.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, Legal, and senior leadership to align sourcing decisions with company objectives.
  • Oversee supply risk mitigation strategies, including contingency planning and actions to reduce disruptions across the supplier base.
  • Prepare clear recommendations and presentations for leadership using financial, operational, and supplier insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain processes, including lean practices, value analysis, and broader functional transformation efforts. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in procurement, material planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing teams, including responsibility for supervisors, managers, or layered organizations.
  • Strong track record in operational purchasing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and complex business decision-making.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, procurement practices, inventory control, supplier performance management, and supply risk processes.
  • Ability to interpret financial, operational, and supplier data and convert findings into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
