Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
1、Oversee the daily operational management of warehouses in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas, inland trucking transportation, cross-border delivery, container loading/unloading, and last-mile distribution. 2、Develop logistics scheduling and routing plans, optimize trucking routes, and control overall transportation and warehousing costs. 3、Manage third-party vendors including contracted trucking companies, warehousing service providers, and customs brokers; conduct supplier performance reviews, business negotiations, contract coordination, and compliance/performance monitoring. 4、Track cargo movement throughout all logistics nodes; promptly handle exceptions such as delays, damage, loss, customs holds, etc., to ensure on-time delivery and successful receipt by customers. 5、Establish and continuously improve logistics SOPs, inventory management policies, and inbound/outbound inspection standards; supervise the team to ensure effective implementation. 6、Liaise with domestic headquarters, overseas clients, and partners; regularly report operational data, potential risks, and optimization/corrective action plans. 7、Control the monthly logistics budget, perform cost accounting and analysis, and consistently propose initiatives for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement. Job Requirements: 1、Have practical logistics management experience in the United States; familiarity with the Port of Los Angeles, local drayage operations, overseas warehouse management, and basic U.S. customs clearance procedures is preferred. 2、Proficient in both English and Chinese as working languages, with the ability to independently conduct business negotiations, handle email correspondence, and coordinate on-site communications with external parties. 3、Skilled in using Excel and WMS/TMS logistics systems, and capable of independently generating operation reports and data ledgers. 4、Strong capabilities in emergency response and post‑incident review, with the ability to handle sudden situations such as peak‑season order surges, cargo anomalies, and last‑minute container changes or rescheduling. 5、Must hold valid U.S. work authorization (e.g., Green Card, H‑1B, EAD, or U.S. citizenship) and be available for long‑term, full‑time employment in Los Angeles.
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
