Stock Room Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and organized Stock Room Supervisor to oversee daily stock room operations, inventory control, parts coordination, and team activities. This position will supervise staff, maintain accurate inventory records, investigate discrepancies, and work closely with production and management to ensure parts and materials are available when needed. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has experience with inventory systems and team supervision. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and provide feedback to stock room employees Coordinate the scheduling and release of parts Assist with inventory planning, forecasting, scheduling, and control Maintain accurate inventory records and databases Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies Request inventory counts and coordinate necessary corrections Work with the Plant Manager to adjust inventory levels Place inventory tags for inventory corrections Pull shortage reports and provide updates to supervisors Assist with resolving inventory and stock-related issues Manage inventory tracking, auditing, and reporting processes Collect and verify weekly timesheets and overtime reports Work within the Made2Manage (M2M) system Manage scrap metal and wood used for crating Assist production with locating parts in the system Support shipping and help resolve discrepancies that may delay shipments Maintain strong communication with internal teams and management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, OR a combination of education and at least 3 years of directly related manufacturing experience Previous supervisory and delegation experience preferred Strong inventory control and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with ERP systems preferred Made2Manage (M2M) experience is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving and follow-through skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional, dependable, organized, and adaptable Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record required Bilingual Spanish is a plus, not required Physical & Work Environment This is primarily an indoor position in a stock room/manufacturing environment. The role may involve sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing/pulling, and lifting as needed. The job description also notes exposure to loud noise and varying hot/cold conditions.
