Responsibilities:
- Direct, develop, or perform logistics management operations related to Ordnance, including planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistical actions that support specified missions, weapons systems, or designated programs.
- Conduct periodic independent systems evaluations and develop recommendations for system improvements based on thorough studies and analysis.
- Monitor compliance with Federal and DoD regulations, ensuring adherence to all relevant guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate and plan with various personnel to coordinate and integrate operations and interests of other organizations effectively.
Take responsibility for planning, managing, and coordinating the total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics for assigned systems or subsystems, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance of logistics activities needed to sustain system fielding.
Gather facts and develop appropriate solutions to problems that require command attention due to their critical nature and high visibility.
Requirements
ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance
Five years of logistics experience relating to Ordnance.
Three years of management experience with DoD contracts, ensuring quality of products and services, schedules, cost control, business relations, and management of personnel.
Proven track record of planning, directing, coordinating, and managing administrative activities of contracts.
Experience in reviewing and maintaining the quality of technical work done on programs.
Ability to assure and monitor the timeliness and quality of all work products.
Proficiency in monitoring and reporting task order performance and financial status.
Strong skills in budget control, schedule management, and task execution
